Because your pet's tag shouldn't fade away.
Sometimes you'll see pet tags where the name is simply printed on - that's not what I do.
I run the laser machine 14 times over to make a proper deep engraving that is unable to wear out.

Why so Cheap?
Because BrassDonut doesn't have to pay for everything.
I already have professional laser machines due to my other business, so the machinery, workshop and know-how are already here ready to use.
The brass itself is also relatively inexpensive. And rather than trying to sell few for a large profit - I'd rather make lots of them and keep the price reasonable.

Why brass?
Brass has character that develops naturally over time. As your pet wears the tag, the surface gradually develops a unique patina.
Do you prefer that original golden shine? Just give it a wipe or polish and the original glow comes back.
No paint. No plastic coating. Just solid brass.

I run BrassDonut myself, from engraving to packing each order.
My other business is importing and selling professional laser engraving equipment, so I've spent years working with the technology behind these tags.
I started BrassDonut because I wanted to put that equipment and experience to work on something of my own — making great quality pet tags without robbing my customers.
I'm not trying to build a huge pet-tag company. For now just keeping things simple, make each tag with care, and offer something I'd be happy to put on my own pet.
