Brass Donut – Engraved Dog ID Tag

The dog tag that says enough. Most tags only fit a name and a phone number. A BrassDonut fits up to 108 characters, 54 on each side: your dog's name, two phone numbers, your address, allergies or medication, or something fun like "I'm lost, please call my mom!"

Your dog wears this tag every single day, so I make it to last a lifetime. I engrave every tag myself in my workshop in Helsinki. The laser goes over your text 14 times, so it sits deep in 3 mm of solid brass. It's engraved, not printed or stamped, so it won't fade, rub off or rust. No replacing it every year or two.

Spread over your dog's life, it costs less than a cup of coffee a year. And it's the thing that brings your dog home if it ever slips away, so it should still be easy to read in ten years.

How your text is engraved

• Both sides are engraved at no extra cost.
• I lay out your text in one or two circular lines per side, depending on its length.
• Text is engraved in uppercase because it's easier to read. Tell me in the Notes if you'd prefer otherwise.
• I like to add small touches like paw prints or hearts, unless you tell me otherwise in the Notes.

Shipping

Your tag is engraved and handed to the carrier within 3 days, with tracking. Shipping is free when you order 2 or more tags. Made and shipped from Finland, so there are no customs fees within the EU.

Natural patina

Solid brass slowly darkens and develops a natural patina with daily wear. That's normal and part of its character. Prefer the original shine? A little lemon juice and baking soda on a soft cloth brings it back.
